Holiday Planner app for iPhone and iPad

The application Holiday Planner demonstrates in a short and simple way to to obtain the best from your annual leave entitlement by combining public holidays with bridging days*.

The programme can be applied to whichever country you reside in. The procedure is as follows:

1.1 Select your country of residence and the programme will choose the appropriate language.
1.2 Enter the total number of annual days leave due to you in the space provided.
1.3 Press the key marked bridging days and the next screen will show the months which have such days and they will be underlined in green.
1.4 Now select the month in which you wish to have a holiday and the programme will combine any available public holidays with the relevant bridging days.
1.5 The next screen will show the results as follows:
(a) The lower field will show the total number of annual holidays due to you.
(b) It will also show the number of days required for this holiday and the number of unused days remained.

The procedure can be applied to any month of the year. In addition you can move forward a month or back a month by using the arrows.
Finally by using the Tools key you can transfer your results to you own diary, either by email or sms, for further consideration.

*Note: Bridging Days do not apply in the UK or Ireland since bank holidays there fall on either a Friday or Monday. Should a public holiday fall on a Saturday or Sunday it is automatically moved to the following Monday.
